Luffa is  incredibaly satisfying to grow!  They take a long time to get going.. but once they do.. BAM there they are! They grow all summer and in early fall we crack them open and there inside, is this beautiful all natural sponge.
 
Each luffa is cut into approximately 3 inch sections and comes with a string to hang it when not in use (important step in caring for luffa.)
